Bout time.
Yup,,,,Cant we all just get along, heard that before.OJ was granted freedom after he murdered, now Zimmerman defends himself and they want to throw his butt in jail just to please those who want to convict him so there wont be a riot,I say "RIOT" then we'll beat you with our Batons and throw YOUR butt in jail.END OF RANT....Trailblazer said:They don't know what to do with him. They know he's not guilty but if they release him we all know what's going to happen during a nice hot summer.
I said this in another thread... The people of Florida are armed, unlike the people of the fellow sinkhole CA. I don't think we will see riots in Florida like we did in CA with Rodney King. If we do, we will see a lot more people killed by citizens guarding their property and their lives.Trailblazer said:They don't know what to do with him. I agree with you FMJ,but also think that Zimmerman should have obeyed what he was told by the police dispatcher when he first called. He should have let the police do their job, there was no clear and present danger for Zimmerman to act on.FULL METAL JACKET said:I said this in another thread... I suspect he will be not guilty, but guilty of lying. Time served and fined.
This whole things a mess
Lesson learned here is, teach your kids to respect police and call them if need be, or call you in the very least, not their girlfriend!
This whole thing would have been avoided if Trayvon called the police when he was scared he was being followed... IMO
From what I heard, when Zimmerman was told to back off and let them do their job, he was going back to his car. That's where I'm speculating that the confrontation occurred. But, since none of us were there ourselves, all we can do is speculate based on what we hear from various news stories and media outlets.Muscle31 said:I agree with you FMJ,but also think that Zimmerman should have obeyed what he was told by the police dispatcher when he first called. He should have let the police do their job, there was no clear and present danger for Zimmerman to act on.
I agree to a point.. Firstly, he did, if you listen to the tape or read the transcript, he said ok and was returning to his vehicle.Muscle31 said:I agree with you FMJ,but also think that Zimmerman should have obeyed what he was told by the police dispatcher when he first called. He should have let the police do their job, there was no clear and present danger for Zimmerman to act on.
Source? Copy of the video? From my understanding, as said in above post, Zimmerman was heading back to his car when the confrontation occurred.JoeyPBasically said:There is a video I don't know if it has been posted here yet, but it's George Zimmerman walking police step by step through what happened that evening. Trayvon got away from Zimmerman multiple times before the confrontation. Zimmerman pursued even though he had no reason to.
No of us know what happened,IMO,and from what I believed happened was that Zimmerman started to walk away from Martin, and Martin became the aggressor.JoeyPBasically said:There is a video I don't know if it has been posted here yet, but it's George Zimmerman walking police step by step through what happened that evening. If you sign into YouTube via safari on iPad, you can copy and paste the embedded video... Just figured this out the other day. Just a heads up for the rest of you iPhone/iPad usersJoeyPBasically said:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PX1sxARNq_c&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Can't embed from iPad. Interesting video.
The video is the police having him walk them through what he remembers happening that day. All evidence is slowly gonna be released to the public...like every casebpk1 said:JoeyP, why would the defense attorneys ever release a copy of a tape they thought would even remotely incriminate him? That's a terrible strategy, don't you think?
