It's sad a frustrating when situations become racially driven. It's too bad group mentality can convolute the minds of typically rational people. It's also sad that it's true that if the races were reversed this would be a much bigger issue, an this is coming from someone of native american, Hawaiian and Latino decent. We need to look at eachother as men and women and no more, no less. A united front is always more powerful, we need a concious militia, who's with me LOL =P

The thing with mobs is they are started from a innocuous group that goes out of control. It could be a softball team, soccer moms, a bunch of drunks in a bar or any group of kids of a certain ethnic background going from relatively subdued but tense group to an angry mob in a heartbeat. In areas that are financially challenged there can be lots of tension ready to boil over with the slightest provocation. If you have a president promoting class warfare it will not end well.

Mayor Nutter deserves our support in dealing with what appears to be the US version of what is going in in the UK.

You don't have to be a "survivalist" to recognize that the veneer is under strain. The cracks will be along racial, religious and economic lines. This happens to be African-American, the next one will be some other pressure point.
At the same time, written references to solving the problem through firepower only plays into the anti-gun media which are extracted from forums like these and used against responsible gun owners in the public eye.
The correct response, in my eye, is to support those few elected officials that have managed to retain their sense of propriety and are speaking out.
At the same time, you can't help but observe the increase numbers of new shooters at the store seeking advice and at the range having a friend familiarize them with their new 16" and 18" purchases.
