I have semi Winchester 1400 semi auto for skeeting

I'm curious what ammo #7.5 or # 8 do you use for sport clay, trap skeeting?

I am using super target AA #8 and I think it's fine..I want to try different.

Thanks

whatever runs your gun....Rone puts up some pretty solid scores at his club with Estate on the sporting clays field. I've shot a handful of 24's in trap with Estate.

On a fancy day we might use rio.

I shoot with a Mossberg 500 with an extended modified choke. Using #8 I shot 14-16 (yes, I suck, but I have fun). Tried a box of #7 1/2 and shot a 20.
Maybe it was the ammo, maybe I had a good round, I dunno. Try a few boxes of both and see how it goes.

I have used my 20 ga HD gun for trap to practice targeting. Winchester AA seems better than most others. Better scores anyway.
Biggest difference was adding an Improved Modified (IM) choke to a 20 " cylinder bore barrel. pretty consistent 14 - 16 with some 18 - 19 haven't hit 20 yet. Helps with steel matches too.

to Volko, 20 ga. 1 - 7.5 bird shot then #4 buck
