The best part...when the cops have the perp pinned against the fence, the wheels keep spinning !

HOW DARE SHE DEFY BEING A SHEEP (technically a ewe, since she is a female)! After all don't the police and politicians tell us to do nothing, and let them take care of criminals? And the politicians are doing such a good job...not! It leaves the police AND the citizens to deal with the mess.
Good for her and in roundabout way, us! She certainly didn't live up to her surname.
All for some beer......LOL
Do you think walmart would ask her not to shop there anymore, sort of like walgreens?  I bet if that happened here, people would say let the criminals go, it was only beer.  You could have gotten someone hurt trying to stop them.
Yes, it's only beer, but maybe people are just getting tired of the apathy society has for stopping theft. More people should take a stand instead of waiting for "someone else" to handle the problem.

I give the women a great deal of credit.

Same here
I would BUY her a beer...
Sorry folks but while I don't advocate being a sheep what this woman did was just plain stupid.

What value does she place on her life?

Better yet what value does her family place on her life?

To risk serious injury or death over a few cases of beer is ridiculous.

Would I want her in my corner if a fight broke out? Absolutely yes. But first things first, awareness and avoidance.
Did I hear "Baaaa..."?
Only beer? Who said "only beer?" ONLY BEER?!?!?

;)
Interesting note, was the cop justified in using deadly physical force?
Hard no to call it that, ramming someone with a car, cops shoot (at) people all the time for coming at them like that.
Not really blaming the cop for what he did, it just sort of happened "in the moment" and is completely understandable, but it is something to think about.

As for the woman she certainly is right, even if her actions weren't thought out very well.

I don't know where this took place but if it happened in NY and the perp was paralyzed as a result of using the vehicle to pin him against the fence you can be sure the state (taxpayers) would be out millions of dollars as a result of the lawsuit.

It could be argued that these guys used their vehicle as a deadly weapon (felony) but in certain parts of the country the officer's actions would probably open the department up to a tremendous amount of liability.

BTW, nothing I've said about the woman or police should be interpreted as in any way, shape or form justifying what these "punks" did but I think this woman's life is worth a whole lot more then a few cases of beer.
I say she's a great person for what she did first of all. Second, I say the cops were justified as well. Robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest...

To everyone saying "all this over beer", stop and think. If this is how they behaved just over beer, imagine what else they could be capable of doing.
The cops pinned the guy against the fence with a police car ....is that what you got from this post?     How about a person that was feed up with the low lifes just doing whatever they what whenever they want.

Instead of saying "Someone should do something..."...

It's sad if you cant see past her first response to the courage it must have taken to be "the someone that did something" .

But I DO see it, that's my point
