Vet shoots burglar with gun he carried in Korea

I'm thinking a lot of Vets took their service weapons home from war. At least it was a pseudo-common practice in Korea and Vietnam.
Was he trying to steal the vets Grand Torino? ;D

Alas, the bullet only grazed the turds neck. Had the vet aimed just a few inches toward the middle, society wouldn't have a burden of feeding the aforementioned turd!
