I am looking to invest in a new hunting outfit. I want to buy the Under Armour Scent control, cold weather, camo. I want something that will keep me warm and I would also like waterproof (or at least water resistant). I am getting confused by all the different options they have. Any one have experience with UA camo or own any of it? Thanks in advance,

Dave

I have their scent control base layer - but I wear non scent control exterior layers when hunting doused in Ever Calm and scent killer.
And by hunting I mean throwing bras in trees, hiding porn, driving milk trucks into the woods and building dildo poles to confuse other hunters.

I continually make the mistake of buying under armour stuff. Imo it's junk and your paying for name. Way better stuff out there for the money.

For cold weather I would look at a layering system. Merino bass layer and go from there. Then get a shell to go over a jacket if you want waterproof. Cabelas has come out with some pretty nice offerings from the looks of things

In all seriousness, I hunt mid to late season in Cabelas berber fleece pants and pullover. Properly layered, it is plenty warm and while not waterproof, it sheds water pretty well. Don't hike in it though as you will sweat (I usually take the pull over off and just wear a vest over my base layer).

Remember that wet = dead.. or at least miserable when you stop burning calories.
