UK licensing laws

I was surfing the web and came across this page:

Not too different from NYC laws and a lot easier than pre-Heller Washington DC and Chicago. Unlike NYC, they actually allow you to reload in the UK.

I like the part where you have to get permission to keep a specific number of rounds of ammo that cannot be exceeded.

It just goes to show you that when you think you have it bad there are others that have it worse. It's also a called to not neglect what you have or it will be taken away.

I just had a bunch of visitors from the UK.
One, a young lad of 31, was looking around my "man cave" in awe that I would be allowed to have such toys.
He asked if he would be allowed to fire a rifle, as her never had.
Next day we were at the range and on the way home he said it was the best day he ever had in his life.
Talk about a grin!!

A friend's friend from Ireland was just over here a few weeks ago for the MDTS class at Calverton. He was telling me about the exhaustive nine page application jut to own a shotgun in Ireland. He got his US citizenship a year ago and plans on leaving Ireland for good for Vegas.
