What a nice snapshot of our society.  We will persecute and inhibit firearms and their law abiding owners without fail, but we won't punish someone who commits vicious and premeditated murder.  After all, it was the extended mag and the Glock that killed those people, not Jared Loughner.

Took the words right out of my mouth!

Horrendous  

Lets see, he was sane enough to go into a gun store, fill out a 4473, buy a gun, buy an extended mag for his deeds to come, load the mag, attempt to reload while shooting people, but he is too crazy to stand trial.

The only one who is crazy is the judge (and the people who knew he was nuts and failed to act).
