Unless I am reading this wrong, a NYS Hunting safety course is valid for the FL training requirement correct?

I was gunna take the course this weekend, but something came up. Going to have to push it off til August. :-/

I didn't think it was, but definitely could be wrong. A copy of your DD214 is good though.

From the Florida application instructions....

"any hunter education or hunter safety course approved by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission or
a similar agency in another state;"

In a perfect world where my family was a bit more understanding, I would have a DD214, but alas... I do respect my mother's wishes.

Thanks 2edgesword, I just wanted to clarify before I started.

Note - they aren't any kind of hippies, anti-war, and most certainly not anti-military; they just didn't want their son doing it. If you count my uncles who married into the family, mine is the first generation of my family without military service. :-/
