Why would this surprise anyone?

People are scum. I see evidence just about every other week food shopping.

If just once I catch someone eating food from the packs that they open eat from
and leave on the shelf.

You'll be reading about it in Newsday.
Any Wynona Rider fans out there?
The post in quotations was my 1911th.

I agree, however, I've arrested a wealthy female and she had a desease/disorder which made her steal from stores. She dressed very well, real Louie Vuitton diamond tennis bracelet not your typical indoor threat.

Yeah, the Idon'twanttopayforititis disorder (but I have an expensive Lawyer and Doctor that will get me out of it).
Shoplifting is a disorder caused by POOR PARENTING!!!
Here's an experience I had recently in Pathmark, while on the check out line a woman with two small children in front of me, one of the kids picks a pack of gum from the rack, now instead of the mother saying put that back its not yours, she tells him you want that gum, kid says yes, she tells him put it in your pocket you can have it they have plenty! The other kid sees this and takes a candy bar, I commented thats real nice to teach your kids to steal, with that she tells me to shut the F up it ain't your store. So I go to customer service and point out the woman and what she did, there answer was we don't get involed with shoplifting its not worth the bother! Still not happy with her response I sent an email to Pathmark, I got a form letter back saying they were sorry I didn't have a good experience in there store and they do not get involed with matters of this nature. So I guess its OK to go on a shoplifting spere!
I see this sometimes at supermarkets. People eat an item without paying for it. Talk about swallowing the evidence!

Hrm... which Pathmark?.... Next question, what color was the shoplifter? - I ask because I've seen the police arresting people at Pathmark many times over the years - one thing is consistent in every arrest I've seen..... another interesting thing with Pathmark, when they closed the store in a nearby 'ethnic' neighborhood, suddenly the other nearby pathmark was locking the entry door at 9pm and making you walk IN the OUT door. I was told straight up "it's because the "customers" from "the OTHER" store come here now and shoplifting went through the roof.
I shop at the "other pathmark", their all shop lifting, Paying with their welfair benifits debit card!!!
