Just received mine today. Wanted to show it to you guys in case you are looking for an affordable red dot option. It has a 2 MOA red dot and a clear rear flip cover.

I like the smaller red dot and the clear flip cap allows you to use the optic without opening any caps in an emergency situation. You can leave it turned on all the time. The battery should last 3 years of constant on use. It included the QRP II mount with a spacer for AR use.

Street price is around $400, but can be had for less.
Now I just need to find something to mount it on.

Looks nice, and gotta love the battery life.  Enjoy it!

PM me.

No it isn't for sale. Just a heads up on a new optic. I didn't know we had an optics section sorry. Mods please feel free to move it.
thats a nice optic.. good price too
Not bad for the price! Optic and mount ;)

I like the clear rear dust cover - pick up and shoot with the dust covers down ;) And 2MOA - nice.

I have the Comp ML3 2MOA on a Larue cantelever mount on one of my AR's - 5 years constant on (setting 7) ;)
Hrmm nice, have been debating on what to get for my LMT piston rifle.

Finally picked up a piston rifle. Good luck with it, Enjoy. Now you need to come out and get some quality carbine training with it. ;)

What makes it different from the Comp M4?
Comp M4 / M4S runs on a single AA battery and is the current standard U.S. Military issue, as the M68 and as such is built to Milspec.
It is very similar to the M2 at less cost. I think 3 years of battery life compared to 5 years is an acceptable trade off. But I prefer the 2 MOA dot and the clear rear flip cover is a nice touch.

These Aimpoints are very rugged and can stand up to some abuse.

The QRP II mount makes mounting a magnifier behind it a bit tough. But considering quality cantilever mounts run in the $150 range, this will work for now. Not an issue if you don't want a magnifier but I wish it was a lower 1/3 co-witness.

Ya, found an upper for sale w/ sights for a price I could not pass up. Just have to pick up a lower.
it looks nice

useless for me

but it seems like a good buy
That forum dedicated to ar15's was running a group buy on these.  I don't know if it is still active.
Bought mine, and i love it! the range master at Brookhaven got a kick out of it, he was picking off used shotgun shells he placed on the bank at 50yd easy ;)

I just ordered the Kill Flash for it, the lens shines like heck in the sun
