Tap it into the front dovetail with a wooden dowel and small hammer. Be sure you ordered the correct one before undertaking this adventure.
Tech TSR200 sight installation
.....anything I'm missing here? I'm having a tough time getting the front post of my new tech 22 sights installed on my Ruger 10/22. It seems to be some poor machining. Anybody have a few tricks they could tell me or have a similar issue?

Make sure the set screw through the front of the sight is loose.
Thank you; I actually got it in by tapping the sight in from left to right. The directions say, right to left. I'm a maintenance guy by trade and don't like to deviate from manufactures directions but for whatever reason it worked.

They sell a tool to adjust the sights on their website. I've never used anything else.
