I live in Ridge and have a 7 acre piece of town watershed behind my house, this morning I woke up to some gobbles from the woods and grabbed my squawk box and started hen speak and soon had 5 gobblers talking back to an old man in his skivvies standing on his deck. I heard a hen real close an there in a tree right by me was a hen enjoying the show

I've bowhunted in Ridge for many years. It wasn't unusual to have turkeys walk right under my stand. Sometimes I thought there may be more turkeys than deer. LOL
The Jakes and Tom’s will shock gobble if you are using a hammer this time year. They are always fun to watch strutting to a hen call.
Turkey hunting is my second favorite, right behind pheasant

upland birds just taste better then venison and a hell of a lot easier to drag back to your truck!
