I have been shotting bow since I was 7 with Levittown P.A.L. I now coach at the age of 22. I never owned my own bow, I began with the Genesis youth bows but when I hit 6'4 at 18 I used one of the coaches old bow, a Hoyt-Easton Rambo Bow (black and orange) Love it to death and shot it well too!!. 19-30" draw and Im a big guy and can hold the upto 80lb with a 65% let off most likely but obvioulsy prefer comfort. Never been bow hunting before so I dont know what is good in the sense of field bows. Any information is helpful. Trying to keep it under $400 if possible since I am a struggling college student who works barely 10hours a week haha. Thank guys

Wish I'd seen this last week! Just sold an old PSE 2 cam for $25 off CL today, needed a string, peep & arrows.. $400 for new is pretty darn impossible, especially if you need everything.. Also, don't go hogg wild on the poundage. You can physically do it, but how long the elbow & shoulder will want to do it may be a different story.. 55-70 lbs works plenty fine..

Mission by Mathews, good way to go. Fair price, top quality (Mathews). You won't be happy. Check out C & B Archery in Hicksville, ask for Ralph.

Hehe, there are lots of choices. I've been shooting my Martin for years and love it.  :)

I've gotten 3 deer with my old Martin Lynx. Great bow but dated. I just picked up a Matthew's Mission. Small. Shoots almost twice as fast as my old bow and quieter.
My advice is to save up and go to a good archery store and have them show you whats available and fit the bow to your preferences.

Got the PSE Stinger. Love it. Had only one shot in the field with it and I had to shoot at a tough angle and grazed my arm just enough to bring me 1/2" below the deer belly. Love the bow though
