They are within walking distance of Suffolk PLB, that is their big draw. I have not been in there in over a year, they seem like nic guys but a little pricey.
I think I paid $50 for a pistol transfer early this year. Still worth it considering all the gas and time you waste doing the yaphank shuffle from Western Suffolk.
Those guys are nice, The owner is a good guy, The prices are a bit on the high side when you compare to the internet, They usually have most stuff in stock, I have purchased (2) glocks There, Yeah I paid about $30 more than what I could get it online for but for me it was negligible
They have reloading equipment and supplies which is nice. There powder and primer is reasonably priced considering hazmat fees if you buy powder or primers online. They did jack prices up on 22lr though. I'm in the process of getting my permit and live very close to yaphank, So I don't mind spending a little more there or at Bensons (never had a bad experience there either) if it means I can save time and gas.
I bought one of my model 10s from them no problem even gave me $20 off. You might want to try Bensons another one I never had a problem with and only a 10-15 min. ride to Yaphank. PD.
Went a few times there. They always had the powders I look for.
Ammo however is on the high side.
But everyone working there are nice to talk to.
