I eat out often enough to care.
Likely, you do as well.
While Suffolk is an amature attempt compared to NYC's page, it's there, which is more than I can say for Nassau.

It appears in Nassau, you need a FOI request.
Someone correct me here!

Restaurant Sanitary Inspection Reports

Inspection Reports for a specific restaurant are available at the New York State Department of Health website at https://health.data.ny.gov/ or by filing a written Freedom of Information request. Contact the Office of Food Protection at 516-227-9717 weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. for filing instructions. The Nassau County Public Health Ordinance (Article III A, section 7) requires every food service establishment to retain on the premises and make available to any person upon request the most recent inspection report issued by the Health Department. A notice of this availability must be prominently displayed to the public.

I'd rather not know........
Some years ago I was an Investigator for a state agency, when conducting an investigation unrelated to health issues of a Chinese takeout near our district office (on Long Island), we discovered they also did not have a health permit.

I issued an order to close the place for a legal issue unrelated to health issues and notified the County Health dept about them not having a health permit.

Many of my co-workers were quite upset I closed the place because that's were they sometimes got their lunch. Even when I told them the place had no health permit, that did not concern them. Their reply was "but their food was good."

There is a bodega on the corner near my house that was last inspected in April 2012. I don't often go in there but went in a month or so ago to get a sandwich for breakfast and after I ordered and paid I realized that the deli case was nasty, moldy food, dirty food crumbs etc. Is there an easy anonymous way to report them to have them reinspected.
