Fun afternoon getting the mag tube and bolt off the aluminum bolt block of the Stevens Model 66 tube-fed bolt action .22. I don't think this one has been fired or cleaned in at least 5 years -pretty dirty. Gonna take awhile, but now I can make it right for my son-in-law. This is one from his deceased gramps.

Also completely stripped down and cleaned a Western Fields M865 (AKA Mossberg 402) tube-fed lever action .22 earlier today. Same situation - long time between firings/cleanings. Had to slightly modify the cartridge stop spring on that one.
Don't imagine there are too many parts sources for these old .22s out there
