Spotting scope question

Hi All..............got a question on spotting scopes.
I'm just shooting 22's, at the most 50 yards. I'm pushin 60, so eyesight is going. ;)
Looking to buy an inexpensive spotting scope, so I need some recomendations.
As far as magnification goes, I certainly don't need "overkill", but I need enough to see "22" sized holes.
Any thoughts Gang?

REMEMBER WITH ALL THINGS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

are you using a scope on the 22 , if so and a fixed power you might want to go to a variable 3x9 and just use the scope to see the target. let us know the situation
I've been using an inexpensive Tasco spotting scope and have no problem seeing .22lr rounds at 100 yards...

If the 50 ~ 60 yards is going all you'll be doing for the time being it should be o.k. As you get beyond 100 yards in varying outdoor conditions of light, heat, humidity the quality of the scope required for spotting becomes more and more important.
