Read the rules again this morning, not being sure if this will be seen as a no no, and it appeears to be OK.
SWFA is having a pretty decent Simmons sale, if anyone is interested.
Illuminated reticle 4/14/44 for $140.
Never owned a Simmons - no opinion here - but others might find this useful.

Passing along a deal to other members is fine. The issue would be a business trying to self promote.

Simmons are generally the cheaper end of acceptable scopes. I have a $69 Simmons ProHunter on the gun in my avatar, and it's usable for a .22 p[linker, But you would not put a scope like that on a high powered hunting rifle IMO. And even for an AR I'd look for a better optic. but for an inexpensive .22 or a Hi-point, hard to beat the Simmons price point in a traditional scope form factor. They are only a couple bucks more than a BSA.

i have a simmons 4x14 on my ar15. it was easy to sight in and holds zero so far for a year. at the 14 power setting you can see the bullet holes in the target at 200 yards. dont need spotting scope.
