Looking to pick up the Sig P365, knowing there are several generations, what serial number series depicts the latest version? Trying to stay clear of the issues found in the early versions. The google post on this subject appear to be outdated. Thanks for the feedback if you can offer any advice.
I believe that the post issue P365s have a green front sight -- that is what I was told at South Shore Sportsman. I assume the issue you are referring to is the firing pin dragging across the surface of the rear of the bullet.
Read the attached article. What I previously said sort of makes sense. Sig did replace the original sight in early models with green front sights. So if you buy one with green sights it will not be one of the early models- the assumption being that by the the issue with the striker was resolved. BEFORE You Buy the SIG P365, Read This REVIEW

In terms of grip modules you can buy a 365xL grip and a magazine extension since the 10 round magazine is too short. You could also add an extension to the 10 round see below links
