Looking to pick up the Sig P365, knowing there are several generations, what serial number series depicts the latest version? Trying to stay clear of the issues found in the early versions. The google post on this subject appear to be outdated. Thanks for the feedback if you can offer any advice.

I don’t think you will find that info

But I will say that my P365 is only months old and was one of the problem guns. Sig sent me an overnight label, fixed my gun in 2-3 days and expressed shipped it back to me. The whole process was less then a week…gun shoots great with 800 rounds through it

I believe that the post issue P365s have a green front sight -- that is what I was told at South Shore Sportsman. I assume the issue you are referring to is the firing pin dragging across the surface of the rear of the bullet.

If you get one pick up a mag loader on the sig website. Its made specifically for the 365, and works like a charm. Trying to load 10 rounds without it will kill your fingers.

Ancap, did your version have the green front sight? I am assuming the shops treat gun sales like perishables at the grocery store, with the older versions not sold being moved to the front of the showcase.

mine was manufactured March of 2022

its not the normal p365 it’s a 380 with siglite night sights and a optic cut slide

Sig landed up replacing the entire slide assembly two months ago which came with the same type of sights. They also polished the barrel feed ramp

Like I said I wouldn’t fear buying one, Sig backs their products extremely quick.

for a pocket pistol its a extremely fast shooter and I can get get small groups all the way out to 25 yards no problem

I have one and like it very much. Groundbreaking at the time it was released still amazed at the capacity and size. They make other verisons now but for me this works best I don't have huge hands and conceal ability is the key. Have about 300 rounds through mine now without a hitch. I got it about 6 months ago along with a Ruger LCP Max. I figured it was inevitable we'd be concealed carrying and wanted to get comfortable with them as well as break them in. It has a green front sight.

Maybe its the way I hold it. Both thumbs forward. My support thumb gets torn up from the picatinny rail groove. I change to the Wilson Combat grip, same condition. I prefer the Glock 43X, yes its slightly larger. I also picked up the Alien Gear belly band for the P365. Not a fan of that either. Comfort Tac much better for comfort & concealment. I suggest shooting the P365 before you buy it. Just my 2 cents.

I had both in my hands today at LI Gun Source, honestly, if I didn't already have a G26, would consider a 365. I really liked the LCP MAX, and with the nice weather coming will probably be my next purchase.

I have two, LCP 2 380s, Yes, I like it so much a got 2! The one that is my safe queen I will auction off on Gun Broker or post it here. What I gain from that sale I will put towards the 365. It comes with a beautiful handmade cross-draw thumb break snap leather holster found here Model 828 - Retained Crossdraw/Driving Holster HolsterPro Gun Leather The LCP 2 is brand new in an opened box. It went to the range once to confirm functionality. If you are not familiar with it take a look at this review
Not looking to make a killing on it, just a fair win-win to make the 365 happen without upsetting the wife. If interested in the LCP 2 380 and holster send me a private message.

I bought the LCP Max for my wife and the P365 for me but she was just unable to rack the slide reliably. Weak hands and grip I guess. Tried every method known but what good is a defensive semi auto if you can't rack it. So....I added them both to my license and got her a SW airweight hammerless revolver in .38. She loves it just aim and shoot lol....
