There is already at least one thread for this incident; maybe I didn't read it thoroughly but I was not aware of this report. I was pretty much fine with the shooting- first 5 shots were absolutely justified IMO; second 5 may have been unnecessary and a poor decision but I would not punish the officer for it. The lie, however, bothers me more. Based on the video, I thought it was a good shoot given the circumstances. But if the officers who were there felt the need to lie about it, then that raises doubt for me and now I can't help but feel less comfortable about the whole thing.
