Scoping Things Out.....1x4x...Which one?

OK guys/gals. I just picked up and mounted my Troy Iron sights on the RRA AR15 ATH. Now I'm scoping out some new optics.

I'm looking for a 1-4x with illuminated reticle. This scope will be mainly used for targets from 50-200 yards at Calverton. Maybe try 300 yards someday.

So far, I really like the:

Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 Riflescope $499 (no mount)
SWFA SS 1-4x24 Tactical 30mm Riflescope $799 (no mount)
Burris XTR Gen II 1-4X24 W/Fastfire Red Dot And P.E.P.R. Mount $869 (I like that this has the Red Dot Scope on top).

Does any one have experience with these?
or
Do you recommend something else?

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

All a little over kill.  But if its your only Ar and your guna spend that much on an optics just bucks go with a used Acog on ebay I have seen them get down to 650-800
For a 1-4 I would get either leupold mark 4 or a nightforce.  For 50-200 yards I would use irons or an aimpoint.

That's why I bought the irons. I plan to practice with them until I get very proficient with them. Then I plan on getting a scope.

Since you mentioned Leupold, I like this one "Mark 4 1-3x14mm Close Quarter/Tactical Riflescope": http://www.leupold.com/tactical/products/scopes/mark-4-cqt-riflescopes/mark-4-1-3x14mm-cqt/

Has anyone had any experience with this or the ones I've mentioned above?

The troy sights are beautiful.  I've been thinking of getting them for a while.  Try for the used Acog.
Trijicon ACOG TA31F & Leupold 1.5-5x20 Mark 4 MR/T 30mm Riflescope

These are the only two scopes I recomend and are currently in use by the US Armed Forces......

I kind of wanted a true 1x for CQB with variable up to 4x for up to 100+ yards. The ACOG is a set 4x and the Leupold is a 1.5. Plus, I brought my scope budget down a bit to the sub $500 range.

I heard great things about the Leatherwood Hi-Lux 1-4x CMR Red Illumicated Reticle that costs around $325. Doing some research on it now.

IMHO of going CQB set up with an occasional long range shooting, I would recommend Aimpoint PRO or Eotech 512 with budget magnifier. The total cost will be close or little over than to $500 with the set up. I heard good things about 1-4X Leatherwood Hi-Lux, and Nikon M-223, but I am not sure how useful the 2X and 3X magnifications are. I imagine you will switch 1x and 4x back and forth.
