All a little over kill. But if its your only Ar and your guna spend that much on an optics just bucks go with a used Acog on ebay I have seen them get down to 650-800
That's why I bought the irons. I plan to practice with them until I get very proficient with them. Then I plan on getting a scope.rifleshooter said:For a 1-4 I would get either leupold mark 4 or a nightforce. For 50-200 yards I would use irons or an aimpoint.

I kind of wanted a true 1x for CQB with variable up to 4x for up to 100+ yards. The ACOG is a set 4x and the Leupold is a 1.5. Plus, I brought my scope budget down a bit to the sub $500 range.dcobra23 said:Trijicon ACOG TA31F & Leupold 1.5-5x20 Mark 4 MR/T 30mm Riflescope
These are the only two scopes I recomend and are currently in use by the US Armed Forces......
