It'll never get to that point with this administration.
Muslim extremist Man Made disasters are just a sad occurrence. Blacks shooting blacks by the thousands annually in Democrat controlled NYC, Chicago, DC, LA, Detroit, Baltimore and across the U.S. is par for the course.

But white cops killing a black man? That's what gets Obama getting out of bed every morning.

He's starting to show his true colors now.

These men (and eventually there will be women) are casualties of an undeclared war. Congress should declare war on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, its constituent parts (e.g., Al Qaeda, etc.), its derivatives, its dependencies, and all those who facilitate material or financial support.

The President will have no choice but to faithfully execute the war, in accordance with his oath of office. Anything less will be an impeachable offense.

Start designing the campaign and theater ribbons, appropriating funds for benefits, etc.

But most importantly, take the gloves off and show the World what happens when the US Military comes to town.

When is enough enough?
It was "enough" a long time ago, but do you propose to DO about it? You gonna open up internment camps like in WWII and wait till the trucks come to remove your neighbors from their homes? What about when those same trucks come back for the "right wing gun nuts" like Anders Brevik and ...YOU?? Then it's three percent time?

If there were easy or simple solutions to US security problems, they would have been implemented already, There aren't. Liberals want to legislate away any degree of personal freedom in order to "solve" the problem and conservatives wan to go all Third Reich.
We have to deal with it as a modern world problem, like people running people over while texting on their cell phones- it shouldn't happen or be a problem, but it is and there's nothing you can do about it. Except offer condolences to the families of the victims and try to be alert and aware for the sake of your own skin.

PS> We already DID declare war on Iraq TWICE, and try to overthrow the Syrian Government. How'd that work out? IMO not so swimmingly.

Those are secondary targets. If anything, the last 30 years has shown that targeting weak players never resolves the issue. We are in a fight against Islamic Totalitarians. The 2 main sponsors of this ideology are Iran & Saudi Arabia. If we crush Iran, this problem will go away. If not, we will be fighting a proxy war for another 30 years, but Iran will be getting stronger & stronger.

Complete & utter nonsense. You are starting to sound like a Neocon. "We are only losing men in onsies & twosies & bringing democracy to the people of Iraq" Hooray!

There are many things we could do that would improve upon where we are today. As a start how about POTUS acknowledging that ISIS and other Muslim extremist threats are real, they are based in a perversion of a religious belief and they are here at home. At the same time we could stop criminalizing the Constitution and permit American citizens the right and the ability to protect our families, ourselves AND when necessary, our neighbors.
We will see increasing numbers of attacks here at home. They will grow in streghnth and casualties will increase. Not because of any reason other than an emboldened enemy testing our resolve (lack of) and expanding their operations from small scale to much larger soft targets. Gun free zones are deadly to innocents. Escape when able or hide and wait for help is not an acceptable protocol, yet it is what we are told to do.
Our national thinking needs to evolve with the threat. Sadly, the minds of the people seem more engaged than those of the cowards we have elected and sent to Eashington.

Another thing we need to stop doing is making these savages into Martyrs in the press. Every story I read today about the Petty Officer dying was primarily about the shooter, his arsenal and his motivation.
Eff him, eff all of them. Remember the victims and never utter the names of the attackers again.
