It looks a little rough in the sense that the screw looks to be a coarse thread. I just wonder how fine you can adjust the sights.
I don't know what the thread is on that tool but lets say for arguments sake it's a 1/4"-20 screw which has 20 threads per inch, i.e. 20 turns results in a 1 inch displacement. Now you look at an extremely fine thread which is a 1/4"-80 screw, a rare thread used in optics, you can see that 80 turns would result in the same 1 inch of displacement.
