Which "Red Dot" should I be looking at for my Saiga-12. It's going on a UTG short rail. I want something open, not cumbersome, and durable. The last 2 i went through both got mangled from the heavy buck shot I was shooting. My budget is below $200. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I would not buy a cheap red dot... You can get a decent scope for $200, but with red dots you really need to buy quality stuff, especially on a centerfire.

If anything, try to find a PK-01 on an AK mount. That's about $300, but worth saving for.

I put a Burris FastFire 2 on my Ithaca, it's got maybe 4 or 500 rounds through it (since I mounted the sight) and it's holding up well.
they just released a fastfire 3, so uh, the the FF2's are a bit cheaper - mine was under $200 but I needed a rail for the Ithaca, so that was another $75 installed.
great sight, very compact and durable. Highly reccomended.
