I have and used this one: http://www.ceshowroom.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=TELBUS740100C&click=2&gclid=CKSyoMCyiMgCFYgYHwodTqsDTg

They changed the design to make it adjustable for centering. And you can use on more than one caliber.
And I also have this type: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00TT93JK6/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?qid=1442847855&sr=8-9&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&keywords=308+bore+sight

Both work fine for initial sighting.

If I can find where I stashed the cartridge type you're welcome to borrow both.

I have the Gen 1 bushnell you posted a link to and cant find a battery that works in it. Keep that in mind when buying. They really messed up with that one. Lots of complaints on the battery they chose at the time. I think the newer ones use more common batteries.

Most of the new ones do but this is one of their older models. It had a battery in it that looked like a CR123 but with a slightly smaller diameter. I can't even find a number on it or a picture but the thing is junk at this point. I took the old battery to radio shack a year or so ago to try to get a replacement but they had nothing. Naturally I've since lost the old battery. I tried some smaller button batteries but so far no luck.
Moral of the story, make sure the factory batteries are something thats readily available.
