We are going to start collecting funds for the re-election of Sheriff Denny Nau of Centre County PA. He has been instrumental in processing many of our reuests for the Pennsylvania out of state licenses and as many of you guys know, he is the ONLY sheriff in Pennsylvania that has done so. He deserves our support.
The Architech cannot offically do it through LIF because of a little thing like the IRS requirements for non-profits so he has agreed to let me do it.
If you would like to contribute, and I realy hope you all will, please make your checks out to Sheriff Denny Nau. Then please contact me via pm and I will supply you my mailing address.
When I collect all I hope you guys will be sending, I will forward them in bulk directly to the good sheriff with a letter that these re-election donations are in appreciation of him standing firm in his 2nd amendment beliefs and on behalf of us as NY gun owners. I will also make sure he knows all who contributed are members of LIF.
This will suffice the IRS requirements and keep LIF out of any problems.
The election is May 17th, so it is important we collect all we can and get it to the good sheriff well before. The checks again should be made out to Sheriff Denny Nau so there is no worry of playing with the funds. It will be more powerful coming from us as a group of NY gun owners and members of the same forum rather than individual donations though his website. During this time I will post a running total and the names of those that have contributed but not the idividual amounts so no one gets shamed by contributing more or less monies. I think we should have a cut off date of April 26th which is two weeks from today.
It is important we keep this man in office so our new members can continue to enjoy the cooperation we get from Centre County.
Please include your screen name with the donation on a separate piece of paper so I can post the names. Please let;s get this started as soon as we can.
