Have a 98 Jeep ZJ 5.2. 249 VC died, tearing up the front axle. removed front axle, now it is 2wd.  This was maybe 5 years ago. Bought a 231 (from a ZJ?) off CL last year. If I wanted to have it swapped in cheaply (also came with a CV front axle, not sure if length will work), where might I go? I know that there is a place called Transfer Cases Unlimited that specializes in doing this for Jeeps, but I don't want to spend that kind of $ on what is a rolling fish (and deer) cooler. Was thinking of just taking a ride to Shea Stadium.
