Once again...Use a holster, not your pocket.

No holster again?
C'mon. This is getting rediculous.

"A short time later, a man showed up at an area hospital with a wound to his groin. Police believe the man accidentally shot himself in the scrotum."

I would also say if your going to the bar you should leave the gun at home.
Talk about a serious violation of the penal code.

I'm sorry but it is too early in the morning for any story involving the word 'scrotum'.....................unless it involves Barney Frank or Chuck Schumer. :p

You know ... it's really not polite to poke fun at someone else's misfortune. But, what the heck ... I hope the guy's evidence is able to stand up in court. :) :)

I hate when people carry just to carry, it's a pretty serious responsibility. My brother drives me nuts with that mentality, if you're getting plastered it's really not responsible to be carrying.
Intelligence-remember they give you 50 points on the SATs just for spelling your name right. ;)
I hate to state the obvious, but a holster is the most important safety item when carrying. Many people seem to miss this point.
I can hear it now...

Gun in yo' pants.
Gun in yo' pants.
Lookin' like a fool wit yo' gun in yo' pants.

I have no problem with an individual carrying "just to carry". When not in the People's Republic of NY, given my Florida non-resident license, when I'm in PA or elsewhere where it is legal I carry all the time.

Having said that if you know you're going to be drinking then I would say absolutely yes, leave the firearm at home.

I hope you mean "When you're carrying, it's not responsible to get plastered". There IS a difference.
Always the hard way.
