Did anyone notice how far down that scope is canted just to make that shot? It looked like a good 1/2" lower in the front than the back. I'm surprised the barrel didn't end up in the way of the sight picture.

Look at the angle of the platform he's laying on...just me but I'm not impressed that it took this guy a full day with 2 spotters to hit this 3 foot target......The spotters and the rifle/ammo get the credit imo.

Hill Country Rifles writeup makes it clear as does the video thaf it took a couple of dozen people to make this happen. Jim Spinella was just the guy at the end of the chain as trigger puller. Here from HCR....

What does this shot prove? It is a hell of a lot of fun to try. The bottom line is that this was more about having a great time with friends and making some cool memories than it was about the distance. We pushed the team, the equipment, and the round way, way beyond any reasonable shooting range.

We ended up at 4210 because that is where the property line was. Each new distance was an attempt at a new personal best for the team and a great excuse to go back to FTW for a great time with close friends.

This would never have been possible without a customer and friend like Jim and the amazing people and facilities at FTW ranch. We are blessed to have the unique combination of a shop to build the rifle in, a customer to build it for, and a place to shoot these extreme distances.
