As reported yesterday by NPR, of all places.

Uh oh, ... it'll be interesting to see how it works out for this guy. Signing his "John Hancock" publicly, on the interwebz, big enough so that King Andy won't need his glasses.

"I just don't see there's any need to," says Joseph Fuller of Cohoes, N.Y. Fuller says he owns several guns, including at least one that he's required to register under the SAFE Act. But he hasn't.

"I don't pay attention, to be honest," says Fuller. "I have friends out in the boondocks. They won't register their guns either. And they told me ... don't even bother. Don't worry about it."
And TTAG's take is always worth a read.

It just not Firearms, it also equipment. And this is the Point we should push across to the politicians, "the State vetted my thru background and other checks, gives me a license, but puts me on par with criminal, who disregards all laws. I should be give the same latitude as Law Enforcement, for equipment and firearms, Period.
