Night vision

i just obtained a 3rd generation night vision monocular, made by night vision equipment corp. From the little bit of info I could find it appears to be a military issue but I am not able to find much else on it. The model is NVEC-602 and it is also called american eagle. It has a Kowa tv zoom lens attached and works amazing but I want to learn more about the value and also where i can find a mount and reticle lens so i can mount it to a battle rifle.

I may end up selling it but for now i want to learn more about what it is i have. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

This is no longer always the case. With so much military stuff being bought from the civilian market, many things no longer have a NSN on the actual item, often the only NSN is on the packaging.
I dont think this one was military issue but this model was made for militaey use according to what i found. i saw one for sale for 3500 but it had a different lens and a picittany rail mount but not much else anywhete online.
Is anyone familiar with the American eagle nvec602 and if so do you know what they sell for and why mine has a Kowa zoom lens from an old camera instead of the fixed short lens it comes with. The only thing I found is that it's third gen and made for us government but not sure about price, where to get a mount and small lens, and how the IR works.

I tried it outdoors and in a pitch black closet and it really is amazing how clear it is. Just trying to learn more and decide if I should keep or sell it.

There wa one listed on Gunsamerica for $3400 with the funky zoom lens you describe for $3400, no bids, I suspect the front end optics were removed or never mounted and NVEC added the front end optics they could retrofit.
