My Son got his first deer !!

So it finally came together for him and he let one fly , A fine deer for his first with a bow . He got him yesterday afternoon and he made a nice shot.
Very proud of him , he wants to make a quiver from the hide , a gun/bow rack with the legs for his room , and bucktails with the tail. Not to mention fill his stomach with the rest !

Me too! Those memories have been the driving force of my life ! I told my son on the way home, "the worst thing in your life would be trying to explain to YOUR son someday why you cant do these things with him because you made a stupid mistake and lost your privledges to own guns/ bows or to hunt!"

He's a great kid, right now hes getting his board ready to stretch and clean the hide and he made a list of the dyes he wants for his buck tails.

I'm the one playing Xbox !!! ;D
