My son just stopped by and dropped off a Sears Roebuck and Company Model 42-103-1979 22 Cal S L & LR. From what I can tell its a Marlin Model 80. His grandfather gave it to him after a visit this afternoon. Looks to be in pretty good shape, nice bluing and stock is shiny. I'll break it down and check it out for him tomorrow.

Looks nice!  I have a model 25 looks like it takes same mags. It was my first rifle... Have it almost 30 years now. Still looks new'ish.. Enjoy
