My License came today

So I just walk in the door and pick up the mail, and what is right on top? My Concealed Weapon or Firearm License for the state of Florida which I applied for on 11/1/2010. :hotstuff

And I am still waiting for the New York License. 9 weeks in and counting :idunno

Concealed Weapon or Firearm License for the state of Florida do you have any info on how you went about it ? If so can you PM with the steps you took .Thanks

FLORIDA - Can be obtained by mail
The necessary forms can be requested from the web site of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Licensing. Point your web browser to the following web page:
http://licgweb.doacs.state.fl.us/forms/formsrequest790.html

There are 4 items you will need to order from the web page:
The application itself - "Concealed Weapon or Firearm Application"
Fingerprint cards - "Fingerprint Card - Firearm Licenses"
The instructions - "How to be licensed to Carry a Concealed Weapon or Firearm"
And finally - "Questions and Answers Pertaining to the Use of Deadly Force" (This explains Florida Law)
The materials will be mailed to you at no cost, and will arrive in about a week. Follow the instructions and complete the forms.

Also there is a training requirement. Take the Utah course. Florida now accepts it. Get Utah and Florida in one shot. I did. Oh, and don't forget PA. That one is easy, you just need $26. Do it quick, because in 2011, PA will not give licenses by mail.

I believe you need your own states license in order to get Pa and Conn. which i am still waiting on
