So my first time out with my P239 I used a bit of rubber grip tape cut to fit but I didn't care for the look. So I got myself a set of Houge Grips. Big improvement!

Didn't know if I'd like the finger notches but turns out they fit perfect in my hand.

So here is a before and after shot.

Nice. Make sure that the decocking lever moves freely. I've seen a few issues with the Hogues and P226's.

Back in '00 I tried the grip tape thing on a WG 226 but after finding a used set of OEM Sig grips,I tried something different. After sanding them somewhat smooth I stippled them with a soldering iron. Worked good and I ended up giving them to a friend who cracked his in half on the eve of a class. Never saw them again but purchased Hogues and there excellent. No issues with them at all.
