You think that's a kill shot, or a wounded moose ?

Wounded -- unless you call causing the animal to slowly die of blood loss or infection a "kill" shot. Hopefully the hunter was able to track the moose down and finish it off. Gotta hand it to the hunter though -- he has balls!

I saw guys hunting moose on TV with bows the other day... They edited the video to make it look humane, but it was pretty obviously a slow horrible death to someone who knows about such things.

I say if you want the challenge of having to shoot from up close, then just use a rusty Mosin that can't hold groups past 100 yards.

Well, considering that the article attached to the video says that the moose was a new Pope & Young world record, he must have finished it off.

Why would you think it was a wounding shot? It was a perfectly placed shot into the lungs. Arrows don't kill like a bullet through shock and trama. They kill by rmassive blood loss to vital organs. Unless you hit the spine, no arrow shot animal will drop in its tracks. The moose was dead on its feet. It problaby died within a minute of being shot. I've seen heart shot deer still run for almost 75 yards.
