My brother-in-law has suggested to me that people should run and call the police. He also gave me some crap about "statistics show that attackers will leave once you give them what they want."

When he suggested that I should just run and hide I asked him "what about my kids?" He didn't have an answer.

You have to "prove" that you need to carry and have the SC police agree. Or win a lawsuit... :tmi

Typical. They never have an answer. After the initial regurgitated sound bite, the sanctimonious lecture about "gun nuts", and snarky "Who do you think you are, John Wayne?" comments, they never have anything to say. They have no argument, only fantasies about what reality "should be", if only everyone were as evolved and wise as they are.

It's a victim's mentality...they're either unwilling or unable to defend themselves or loved ones. Since they would be cowering in a corner, they want everyone else to do the same. It's the ultimate expression of selfishness.
