Charges will not stick.
As disgraceful as his behavior is, he was exercising his right to free speech.
No he wasn't. This is the same argument about yelling "fire" in a movie theater. You are not free to cause a panic that can lead to injury, that is not free speech.
Advocating criminal acts IS a criminal act.
This turd doesn't need a lawyer, he needs a trip through a wood chipper.

I agree with you, but BLM will lawyer up for him, and you can bet they will cry "freedom of speech". I am not saying I agree with it, I am just so disillusioned these days. Everything is so upside down. Is there a way to attach some form of domestic terrorism charges to these a-holes?

No.

Yelling fire in a movie theater is yelling to a crowd in the same place/building you are in.

The only people who saw what he said are people who either sought out what he said or saw it second hand like we have.

Let's be very careful about prosecuting thoughts and words.

We as a nation are careful about that. Even strict constitutionalists agree that there must be some limitations, even to free speech.
In the case of the aforementioned turd there is no controversial idea expressed, but a call to commit murder and mayhem.
I still say he needs a trip through the wood chipper.

Although he might deserve a wood chipper , I once again ask, how did you hear his words?

To call for a prosecution for what he said on Twitter and to call for limitations on free speech based on what it can do in today's social media is the same as the people who say the 2nd amendment was based on muskets.

Just for the record...La Plata is not Baltimore and not a bastion of liberal thought. It is Southern Maryland, very conservative, mostly rural, near Pax River Naval Air Station, there's a lot of military living in the area, and there's a lot of folks down there who are very happy being south of the Mason Dixon line.

The main drag though Calvert County is rt. 301 and it's very commercial with lots of big box stores and the old casinos when slots were legal back in the 60's. When we lived in MD it was starting to fill in with some commuters to DC...but it still retains a very rural atmosphere. The idea of killing whites would not go over well with the local authorities or most of the established power structure.

Now if this were Prince George's County, MD it would be a very different story....most of the power structure there is African-American and they make up a very large percentage of the population.

Doesn't matter how I heard about it. What matters is who did and how they reacted to what was said. If his speech incites another to violent acts is the actor the only one responsible?

I don't know about the area. I don't know what you know about the area.

One thing I can say however when it comes to as you say " A lot of military living in the area" a good friend of mine is now stuck with a condo in that type of area.

Hampton Virginia, at least where he has this property is all section 8 now. They can't give this place away. They specifically sought out this area a decade ago to invest in because of its location and the military/ .gov in the area.

"Throw the tea overboard!!"

Words that incided others to action, actions that at the time were violent.

Now before anyone gets in a tizzy I'm not going all Capt Billy here, I'm just trying to say before we as a nation call for prosecution of people who say things we might not like on social media, let's take a second to see where that road leads.

I think they locked him up for his own protection......How many are facing charges for felonies such as arson and attempted murder of a Police Officer in Ferguson? None, they let the brothers go...All of them

These degenerates now feel a sense of worthiness , being they probably haven't had a job in the last 6 - 8 years or if ever , so to them this is their contribution to society.

Comparing "throw the Tea overboard" with ' Kill all the white people in town." Is not a good comparison.
and if it was, the colonists would have been arrested for that activity if they were identified, which is why they dressed up like Indians. Yeah, I said Indians and not Native Americans. I hope I don't make Elizabeth Warren angry.
I have mixed feelings on the line of 1A in this.
I do agree 100% if this guy is arrested for this than other racists like Farrakan and BLM morons that have said the same thing should be arrested.
