Outstanding... Better yet they no longer need to pay to lock these fools up! If more of this makes the news, less of these jerkoffs will be stealing $hit

The two aholes who were killed:

"Family and friends of Skinner and Everette said they don't buy the police explanation of events.

"I want to know what really happened," Skinner's mother, Sherry Lynn Skinner, told The Daily News on Monday while being consoled at her Banks Street home by family, friends and neighbors."

I'll tell you what happened: The two aholes effed up real bad this time around!!! At least no one will have to wonder if they will ever kill someone during a robbery....

The world is a little safer now. ;) .....more on the story -

The shooting marked the second time in a week an occupant has killed an alleged intruder in Onslow County.

David Darling, 22, was killed April 8. Detectives said Darling was shot by an occupant at 111 Fieldcrest Drive while supposedly climbing through a broken bedroom window. Darling lived at 113 Fieldcrest. The shooter in that case, also a Marine, has not been identified by authorities.

District Attorney Ernie Lee said his office considers each case individually, but the Castle Doctrine was being reviewed in connection to both cases.

The state's law, updated Dec. 1, basically says a person can use deadly force to protect their home, vehicle or workplace.

"Your home is essentially your castle," Lee said. "And you have no duty to retreat from your castle."

Lee said he was confident both JPD.and the Sheriff's Office will conduct thorough investigations in their respective cases.

Yaniero would not say whether he personally believed the residents did the right thing. He said as a police chief, it's his job to enforce standing laws, not become bogged down in debate over legislation issues.

Neighbors have rallied behind the residents, saying they would have done the same thing.

Marc Brownlee, a former Marine who lives on Country Club Drive, told The Daily News that the quiet community is made up of mostly of former, retired or active duty Marines.

"This is the wrong neighborhood to try anything like that," he said of the alleged burglars.

Fantastic. What does she mean "what really happened"? What other explanation can she come up with for why her degenerate son was in someone else's house at 2am?

This neighborhood should put up a sign:

"IF YOU TRY TO STEAL ANYTHING HERE YOU WILL BE SHOT.
IF YOU SURVIVE, YOU WILL BE SHOT AGAIN!"

That way no one can say they weren't warned.

I'm pro 2A, but I think we need a poll on here as to whether burglary is a capital offense. It seems the gleeful responses on here to spomebody getting shot and killed would say so. Does this apply if it's YOUR son?

I am not for prosecuting the homeowners, but there is also the concept that just because you CAN legally use deadly force does not mean you SHOULD use deadly force.

The zimmerman case thanks to the media will fuel things like this for years to come. It's racist that they were shot breaking the law... Maybe they should have just asked them to leave while the perps were shooting at them:sarcasm

For burglary? No. BUT for what a simple burglary can turn into? Oh yes.
You might just want my flat screen and any cash you can find in my house........but when I come in at 2am with my wife and daughter and interupt you turing the place upside down, your plans and what you originally wanted might then change.......and I'll have to kill both of you, or die trying.

5 guys invade my home in the wee hours, I assume they are not looking for a snack. the odds of them doing harm to me or my kids ramps up the "stop them as quick as I can factor".
Do I want them dead, NO!
do I want them made harmless? YES, and as quickly as I can.
Would my 590A1 work to even the 5 to 1 odds, God I would hope so.

No one knows if this perp was a good kid to his mom or not, but he was not a "good kid" doing an invasion that night. My glee is that some 50/60 sumething cpl. is not dead and the perps are.
Drugs and gangs are the killers most of the time, we, us, you, just get in the way of some "quick cash".

I do not pitty the fool that would do harm to you, that ends up room temp, and I truly hope none of us ever has to be a part of anything like it.
