Feeling a bit numb, down, or whatever the word is. I just got home from putting our companion Tyson to sleep. We noticed him bleeding a bit from his mouth so we checked in it and found a growth under his tongue. We took him to his vet fearing the worst today. He had developed a fast spreading cancer that had taken under his tongue and in his jaw. Doctor said that even with treatment that most likely we wouldn't be able to even slow it. We couldn't bear to have him suffer in agony and be unable to even eat. We felt we had no choice but to say goodbye to him. We lost Simba less than a year ago to cancer and now this. RIP Tyson. You were a great member of our family and so good with our baby daughter.

I'm very sorry for your loss of Tyson today and for the loss of your other friend, Simba. You absolutely did the compassionate thing.

So sorry for your loss.
It's a terrible responsibility we get with our dogs, it's never easy.
May the good memories give some comfort.
