any stores out there have the new Sig Sauer P229 E2 .40 in stock? I called a couple and they all seemed to be on backordered/out of stock. I might even take the older grip style with night sights.

Sig Sauer P229 E2 .40 they are not making it no more with the E2 on the slid ! the grips come on all standard P226 and P229 now as it was very popular.

I've had that exact pistol on order for nearly 3 months. We've called several times and they keep saying it's backordered. I'll post up once it comes in.

looks like its back in stock at Sig. should be a couple of days to SSS. already paid in full for mine. CANNOT WAIT!!

Again the E2 model is not being made no more in the P226 and P229 models..

My New P226 Enhanced Elite in 9mm took 5 weeks to come in .

The "E2" specific model pistols were a limited production run. The positive feedback we received in response to the ergonomic grips from our customers was so overwhelming that SigSauer, Inc has made them a permanent addition to the basic P226 & P229 line-up.

Pretty cool that you gents have some of the last E2's models around ..

A lot of people don't like those grips and the short trigger. Thankfully those both can be changed to fit people with normal sized hands

I will tell you this gun fits my hand better than any gun i have ever held just amazing !

Like a glove they really did some job on this new pistol for me at least .
