I haven't posted any dates for the Utah CCW training because the legislature there is strongly considering "constitutional carry" aka, Alaska style carry. Perhaps you just saw the article on the NRA site that explains some of this.
I want to contact Utah and the sponsor of the legislation to determine if they will leave the license system in place and if it will still allow for non-resident licensing. I believe the bill would simply remove the penalties associated with carrying without a license. This would allow non-residents to continue to apply for the non-resident license and enjoy the benefits of reciprocity.
I am concerned with charging LIF members a fee for a CCW license class that the future of which remains uncertain.
I don't want you to think I am being unresponsive towards getting class dates for the site. I hope to have this resolved within the next few days.
