Have any of you owned one and how well does it mount LOW. I have a 50mm obj on my Sako with medium mounts and I hear I can mount the 56 Leupold with the same mounts.

Whats the spacing look like from objective to barrel? if you have a few mm your should be ok.

I can slide a thick piece of paper between the 50mm round objective and the barrel. A guy on another sight has the 3L in 56mm and swears it will clear with the medium mounts. He says the scooped out shape of the bell allows for a lower mount with the same objective or the same mount with the larger 56mm.
