"Meanwhile, at the wildlife rescue center, staffers are mourning the deer. Frati hopes to set up a memorial on the facility's property, and another staffer hopes to get a tattoo in its memory."

How removed from nature and reality are these people? Is it a wonder why they call them "Snowflakes".

It’s the firearms Deer hunting season in Suffolk County. Southampton Town allows hunting with a Shotgun. Very strict rules apply to private land hunting. A Town Permit for 10 acres per Hunter. Many of the villages do not allow hunting in Suffolk.
Still, Long Island has a healthy deer herd even after the USDA Cull.

Maybe, he'll get that tattoo placed across his forehead, to prove that he's truly caring and really committed to the issue.
