Looks like Kal Penn's 4/20 is playing out like a scene from a "Harold & Kumar" movie.
The "White Castle" actor, who recently stepped down from a position at the White House, was robbed at gunpoint early this morning while walking in Washington, D.C., reports TMZ.
Penn told police a man carrying a gun approached him around 1:20 a.m. and took his wallet, along with other personal property, a source told the entertainment website.
Police are investigating the incident.
Earlier this month, Penn ditched his role with the Obama administration -- where he served as an associate director the Office of Public Engagement for nine months -- for Hollywood so he could resume his acting career.

I'm sure it'll take the Brady clan about four minutes to start asserting this illustrates what happens when you loosen gun control laws....rather than what happens when a criminal obtains an illegal gun and the confidence that his victims will essentially be disarmed by statute.

Yes it is for u, me and every Law Abiding Citizen. For criminals murder, rape, robbery all of these are legal. A person becomes a criminal when he or she doesn't obey the law. Wow. I went to DC last summer with the wife and kids, for a week. Awesome time! We stayed inside DC - about 3 blocks from the White House.
There were Washington DC police, Secret Service police, FBI police, and every other kind of police - EVERYWHERE!
Kinda suprised he was robbed at gun point.
