you can use this in NY?  is this a regular permit or CCW permit?

It will only help me out in NY if I change my residence to Florida, make this a resident permit, and something else I feel like I am forgetting... oh right HR 822 needs to pass in congress and BHO needs to sign it into law.

It is a CCW Permit. Most normal (read:free) states don't require permits for purchasing or owning.

interesting... so if these laws get passed and you have FL residence you have a 100% non-restricted ccw permit recognized in NY?  How long did the process take?
