I could be mistaken...but buying a high quality quick disconnect scope mount for a flattop rail system such as on the AR's will do such a thing.
I am unfamiliar with this. Where would one find such a sight rail? Link?Vertiviper said:I could be mistaken...but buying a high quality quick disconnect scope mount for a flattop rail system such as on the AR's will do such a thing.

no reason to go arms unless you get them for free.M14BULLETTS said:buy ARM 22 mounts , you will need to have a picatiny rail on it first.
i have the arms on mine and take the scope off and on many times and it has not lost zero yet.

even then....
There really is no substitute. For a long time I balked at the price while a certain (wealthier) close relative extolled Larue's virtues, but then we went to the range and shot through an M1A with a Swarovski Z6 (2.5-15X), an ACOG (4X32) and irons, with the first two on LaRue QD mounts. Shot through othe Swarovski, removed, shot through irons, swapped the ACOG on, back to irons, then back to the Swarovski, etc. Zero remained steady throughout 2 'cycles' of swapping.truckie453 said:Larue tactical stuff is great too... just pricey.
