9 Dead and 28 wounded in shootings in Chicago over the weekend. I sure am glad that they have strict gun control there to keep the guns out of the criminal's hands.

Yeah that's really working out for them. Lmao.
The comment I'm seeing more and more in posts following shooting stories is this one : "Melt them all."
I feel like replying: "Read much history?"
The gun control is working great... The law abiding citizens still can't carry. :sarcasm
Just saw a CNN report. Mayor of Chicago states "progress" is being made in the fight against crime in his city........Yet, gun related homicides are up 27% through July this year - the percentage will go up after August numbers hit. Also CNN reported that of the surviving victims of a shooting, over 80% refuse to cooperate with the police and DA. I wonder why?
Funny no one reports little facts like in Brownsville this year, so far in a Pct. that is only a sq. mile that over 77 have been shot so far this year (not counting the dead).
How can Mayor mike look the public in the eye, His leadership is a total fail.
He gets infront of the press when its in the city..........Take a subway to Brooklyn, then jump a bus, then walk 4 or 5 blocks without your personal protective detail, then give me a call.

If they cooperate they will be a statistic next weekend. Probably KIA, not WIA like this weekend.

Just the hard truth in the jungle.
More FUD from Rahm
Emanuel said police have moved in more officers, removed guns and drugs off the street, and over the weekend, arrested 307 people and confiscated more than 100 weapons during several drug busts across the city.
"We can keep doing that," he said, "but we have to pass stronger gun laws in this state. We're not talking about repealing conceal/ carry, but making sure we have a tougher set of laws dealing with assault weapons and other types of guns."
